Certification & Safety:
Your guide, Matt Ellis, has been hunting ducks
for over 25 years and is a U.S. Coast Guard Certified Master
Captain. Captain Matt is also certified in Boater Safety, Hunter
Safety, CPR, and First Aid.
Accommodations:
Dabblers & Divers is based out of the
Safe
Landing Motel in the quaint river village of Stoddard, WI.
Safe Landing provides clean, comfortable, and affordable rooms
with a heated game cleaning room and freezing provisions on
site.

Guide Fees:
$165.00/person, per day. A deposit of 50% per
person, per hunt is due prior to the hunt. There is a maximum 3
people per hunt, so boat may be filled with other hunters. (If
you wish to guarantee hunting alone, you can pay for the extra
hunter(s). Hunts are conducted from approximately 4 or 5:00am –
1:00pm.
Equipment to Bring:
Due to the large amount of equipment required
to make your hunt successful, please limit your personal gear to
approximately 30 pounds. Your personal
gear should include a camouflage facemask, gun, and shells. You
may also want to bring chest waders, binoculars, rain gear, and
a camera. Life jackets will be provided. However, if you
would like, you can bring your own personal jacket. Your trained
waterfowl dog is welcome on board, but please make arrangements
with Dabblers & Divers prior to your scheduled hunt if you
would like to bring your own dog.

License Requirements:
Wisconsin Small Game
License, Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp, Federal Migratory Bird
Stamp, HIP Certification, Canada Goose Exterior Zone Permit
(Optional). It is each hunter’s personal responsibility
to possess all of the required licenses prior to your scheduled
